Michigan!

“Oh…that’s why you’re so nice.” 😊

I was born and raised in a town north of Detroit. I was there in 1984 when the Tigers won the World Series and a bunch of high school students played their band instruments on the corner of our street late into the night in celebration. I stayed in Michigan through college where I received my Bachelor’s Degree at Western Michigan University. The friends I made there are many of the ones I still have today, and they are basically the reason I have now lived in New York for my entire adult life.

There are a LOT of us here in NY from Michigan and we always seem to find each other. If you’re from The Mitten, stop and say Ope!
