My campaign comes straight from the community. It’s as grassroots as it can get. I have been so lucky to be the recipient of individual donations that have helped to cover expenses for this campaign, and every single donation has come from a family member or friend. I feel so proud to be supported by such a strong community that has helped me every step of the way.

In fact, I would love to see this campaign as a gateway for other members of this community to step through to become empowered to be more active - to be more engaged. I would love for this election to be a signal to others that it is time to step up and get involved. That, in and of itself, would feel like its own victory!

The only things that are influencing my platform or my decisions are my education and experience, and my belief in a strong, supportive, well-rounded, equitable education for all children.
